Abia Tricycle Operators Union, Umuahia Zone Felicitates with Governor Alex Otti on Birthday, Hails Transformational Leadership
The leadership and members of the Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Umuahia Zone, have expressed heartfelt felicitations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued today, Hon. Chinweotito Godson Appolos, Chairman of ASTOPU, Umuahia Zone, described Governor Otti’s birthday as not just a celebration of age, but a recognition of the gift of life and his transformative impact on the state.
“Today, Ndi-Abia celebrate not just the birth of a man, but the birth of a vision bearer whose life has become a beacon of hope, courage, and transformation for our dear state,” Appolos said.
He commended Governor Otti’s leadership for ushering in a new era of governance in Abia State, noting significant strides in fiscal discipline, infrastructural development, security reforms, and responsive governance.
“Under your purposeful stewardship, Abia is rising from the shadows of stagnation into a future of productivity and dignity. Roads are being revived, institutions strengthened, workers given renewed hope, and the ordinary citizen reassured that government can indeed work,” the union chairman stated.
Highlighting the perspective of tricycle operators who traverse the state’s roads daily, Appolos emphasized that the impact of the governor’s policies is evident in the everyday lives of citizens.
“We see the changes. We feel the difference. And we understand that visionary leadership is not noise but impact,” he said.
He also prayed for the continued health, wisdom, and longevity of Governor Otti, calling for divine preservation to enable him to fulfill his noble purpose for the people of Abia.
